Life Update vol. 1
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted anything on my blog or social media and to be totally honest I just didn’t feel like it. I just felt pretty unmotivated to post about fashion and beauty when there were so many other things going on that were much more deserving of people’s attention and when I was wearing leggings and t-shirts every day if I wasn’t staying in my PJ’s all day. I hadn’t put on makeup in months before last week. On top of that I had a lot going on myself, including getting sick not once but twice during the middle of a pandemic which is just not ideal.
My online classes are taking up most of my time these days, but there’s only a few more weeks left and I couldn’t be happier to be done with school for the next several months. I’m also hopefully going to finally be getting back to working. I’m pretty bummed that I wasn’t about to work at my old job this summer but I see it closing as a little bit of a push for me. I probably never would’ve left to get a job in healthcare if I was still part time there.

Graduation
Yes! I graduated with my Bachelor’s in May and while I have no graduation photos and my degree hasn’t come yet I’m still super proud. I never got a cap and gown since I knew we wouldn’t be walking but my school gave seniors the option to receive a free cap and tassel so I’m hoping to get some grad photos once that comes in and hopefully with my degree too. Stay tuned on insta to see those when it happens 🙂

Last week I announced my new project on stories. It’s still in the baby stages but I plan on opening my new online shop late summer/early fall. Opening up a shop in the middle of a pandemic is a bit harder than one would think. I’ll be starting with handmade jewelry and stickers I’ve designed. I hope to expand to more accessories in the future but want to start small to test the waters.

New Hobbies
I ordered a Nintendo Switch Lite back in June to start playing animal crossing after I saw my boyfriend’s island and I’m officially hooked. My island is starting to look super cute and I already have a list of villagers I want to try and find the second one of my current ones asks to move out. I’ll probably share a few snaps on my stories once I finish a few areas on my island, which is lovingly named Genovia after The Princess Diaries.
I’ve also been trying to get outside more, since that’s really the only safe place to be outside the house right now. I’ve been taking lots more bike rides, trying out new hiking trails and going paddle boarding/kayaking with my boyfriend. This is really the first summer since I started working that I’ve had this much free time to go out and actually enjoy my summer so I’m trying to take full advantage of it.
